To Be Content

November 23, 2017

“To be content does not mean to feel content but rather to know that in My Son you have everything you need to live in rhythm with My Spirit in any circumstances of life [4:12-13]. In emptiness and brokenness changed by My Spirit into thirst and gratitude, you are able to complete, reveal and delight My Son. Nothing you do brings Me more pleasure and you more joy – joy that exist within you as a sustaining reality.”

Dr. Larry Crabb, 66 Love Letters, Page 270-271

Questions for Reflection:
• Take some time to consider what you’ve been given through Christ’s life in you.
• What difference has this gift of His life made for you?
• Write a letter to God, thanking Him for the ways that His Son has impacted your life.
