Doubt, Terror, Rage Against God

August 23, 2017

“To the fallen mind, it makes sense to be mad at God….

The foundation of the fallen structure is our doubt of God’s goodness, which creates the terror of aloneness in the unreliable world, which leads to rage against God for doing so little to protect us from suffering.”

Dr. Larry Crabb, Finding God, Page 87

Questions for Reflection:
• In what areas currently have questions about God’s goodness stirred fear and anger in your heart?
• If God has not intervened with protection from things that currently ignite fear and anger in your heart, ask Him to help you move from questioning His goodness to resting in His character.
• Spend some time today looking at what His Word says that He is working out in the midst of our suffering.
