I Want To Be Part Of A Church That…

September 16, 2015

“I want to be part of a church that looks through the smudged window of life as it is now and sees hints of glory. A church that imagines what it will be like when everything is beautiful and then presses on through weariness and a discouraging sense of futility is where I want to belong.”

Dr. Larry Crabb, Real Church, Page 142

Questions for Reflection:
• Have you had conversations with fellow believers this week that felt like you were looking “through the smudged windows of life”?
• As you talked and listened, what hints of glory emerged?
• In your relationships with others, are you seeking to build community that pursues seeing God and His purposes more clearly, even in the midst of weariness and opposition?
